The Trib’s story on Dixon’s Faribault days acknowledges that he became unpopular but gives him cover by saying it wasn’t his fault. Two critics were found and several more who stuck up for the Superintendent.
I’m disappointed that more of Dr. Dixon’s critics didn’t weigh in or weren’t contacted but Sara Horner seems to have walked a fairly narrow line. The average Duluth reader would have to consider this a vindication for Dr. Dixon and his reputation.
