I already knew that Don Ness supported having a referendum on the Red Plan. Goodness knows the City’s liability for retiree health care is scary enough. I just heard that Charlie Bell, who sat on the task force which came up with the Red Plan, does too. I saw Charlie outside the PACT TV offices in City Hall today and asked him if it was true. Sure is. It might not matter for $5 million, Charlie said, but this is different. Sure is. It’s $437 millions worth of difference.
