A Duluth District employee, one I quite like, once called the weekly newspaper that has covered the Johnson Controls boondoggle in the St. Louis County School District, the “Timberdoodle.”
Dismissive as this was you can not deny that this tiny newspaper has real journalistic chops. The Timberjay was just a prestigious award for its tenacity over two and a half years in ferreting out the skeletons from Johnson Controls closet.
