Last night’s meeting

It was great. Only an hour and a half long but the biggest group to date, 45 people, one third of them new. We passed the coffee pot, no hat available, and raised just short of $300. I told them that a column had been sent into the Reader and that petition forms would be on it. 14,000 of them delivered this weekend with directions on how to return them. One glitch though. I learned this monring that the attachment didn’t include the lines for people to sign on. Oh well.

We set next Monday as our next meeting date and will try to break out of the Duluth Central attendance area to emphasize that our issues are universal in Duluth. Another ten t-shirts were picked up and lawnsigns left the premises heading for people’s yards. We still have 350 to put up. I’m hoping this weekend to get another 100 up.
