The Billionaire’s onslaught begins in earnest

A screen capture of the 15 Romney ads now running in eight critical states this weekend. They may work.

On the other hand they may reinforce something that I hope bothers many voters – that the GOP has delivered this election (with the Supreme Court’s help) to the highest, often anonymous bidders. If so, the ads prodigious ubiquity may backfire.

Its also possible that the Democratic Convention may have created enough positive feelings for President Obama that it will act as a vaccine against all the advertising pathogens besetting him.
