I’ve just signed two pledges and\u00c2\u00a0faxed them to their respective organizations.<\/p>\n

First I signed a pledge to fix social security on the basis of a fair bi-partisan solution.<\/p>\n

A former Minnesota Congressman who I much admire, Tim Penny<\/a>, has been championing the cause for www.forourgrandchildren.org<\/a><\/p>\n

The second pledge called the “Punch Clock Agreement<\/a>” asks congressional candidates to keep their daily congressional schedules available on the Internet so that meetings with lobbyists, constituents, and other public figures can be monitored.<\/p>\n

Several hundred candidates have signed the former pledge but only about 70 of us have signed the latter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
