{"id":6071,"date":"2012-02-16T14:32:02","date_gmt":"2012-02-16T19:32:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lincolndemocrat.com\/?p=6071"},"modified":"2012-02-16T14:39:05","modified_gmt":"2012-02-16T19:39:05","slug":"i-bash-mississippi-regulalry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lincolndemocrat.com\/?p=6071","title":{"rendered":"I bash Mississippi regulalry&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;but if you exclude the majority of old white Mississippians who still <a href=\"http:\/\/lincolndemocrat.com\/?p=3587\">want to outlaw<\/a> marriage between the races its changing before my very eyes.<\/p>\n<p>The other night I saw a PBS program that showed the students of <a href=\"http:\/\/thedmonline.com\/article\/screening-pbs-documentary-ole-miss-students-tonight\">Ole Miss<\/a> deciding to end the popular call: &#8220;The South Shall Rise Again&#8221; at their football games. And Ole Miss is still overwhelmingly white. They even withstood a puny protest by what&#8217;s left of the KKK. <\/p>\n<p>And recently the voters of Mississippi voted down the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2011\/11\/08\/mississippi-personhood-amendment_n_1082546.html\">personhood amendment<\/a>&#8221; that sought to end morning after birth control pills. <\/p>\n<p>Now <a href=\"http:\/\/andrewsullivan.thedailybeast.com\/2012\/02\/the-west-wings-mediocre-president-.html\">this<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Good luck Rick Santorum.
