{"id":4095,"date":"2011-09-30T06:30:34","date_gmt":"2011-09-30T11:30:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lincolndemocrat.com\/?p=4095"},"modified":"2017-02-28T12:38:08","modified_gmt":"2017-02-28T17:38:08","slug":"god-forbid-that-anyone-criticize-the-school-board","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lincolndemocrat.com\/?p=4095","title":{"rendered":"God forbid that anyone criticize the School Board"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The objection of the<a href=\"http:\/\/lincolndemocrat.com\/?p=4094\"> previously mentioned<\/a> letter writer to Loren Martell is that he criticized the School Board. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;&#8230;Martell stepped up to the microphone to deride members of the board. He seemed to feel that by saying the same thing over and over each month he&#8217;d convince everyone that what he was saying was true.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The writer doesn&#8217;t state the criticism but it is this: Mr. Martell discovered that the Board was routinely hiding and perhaps not reading, mail sent to it that the Superintendent didn&#8217;t want to make public. By the way, that violated the law on public data.<\/p>\n<p>I bet that if the Duluth News Tribune chose to censure letters like her&#8217;s she&#8217;d complain about it too.
