Regarding ridicule and bigotry, do you believe that the Democratic Party deserves to be ridiculed because of the support of numerous (but not all) of its members for the proposed “employee free choice” legislation that even you and George McGovern oppose? <\/p>\n

I suggest that sound observations and reasonable opinions aren’t enhanced by related expression of slopped up and over-the-top comment. I suggest that the world doesn’t need more cranks. <\/p>\n

Yup, just because I think Wisconsin’s Governor has gone nuts doesn’t mean I don’t think reasonable restraints shouldn’t be placed on unions. McGovern and I don’t believe that Unions should be able to form without a democratic vote of the workers. <\/p>\n

If I was worried about Democratic extremists at the moment I’d get busy ridiculing them too but at the moment they are so weak and stupid its not worth the bother. Except that there seem to be a few of them so myopic that they would rather have Fox News run the country instead of Obama. That’s myopia worth a poke in the eye.<\/p>\n

Oh, and in Duluth politics, Buddy, it does seem AFSCME is about to add a couple more friends to the City Council. I did vote for one of them with a little less enthusiasm as a result of her AFSCME backing. With their help we’re sure to remain stuck with the Steam Plant and will probably get into some new mess like the one on Health Insurance for retirees that crippled Duluth for a decade.<\/p>\n

But, that’s small potatoes compared to dumbing down the entire American Education system. You see, even I have to keep my priorities straight…….I’M A CRANK FOR GOD’S SAKE! <\/p>\n
