A first reading had no suprises. It also had the answer to my follow up question about its enforceability over contrary states.

My First reaction:

1. There is nothing more important for the Congress elected this November than to make sure that it will not be a very short-lived Democratic (meaning pro democracy) Congress which will be wiped away in the next elections.

2. That requires making sure that the national expectations for fair redisctring are once again adhered to.

3. I have just found the raison d’etra for my campaign against the Anti-democracy scaredy cat Pete Stauber.

4. I need to make this issue become a part of every congressional campaign I across the country.

5. This issue more than any other will bring Independent skeptics to the ballot box in hopes that passage of successful anti-gerrymandering laws. If it becomes law without having to pass a new amendment to the Bill of Rights, it will prevent the loss of American Democracy that was characterized by January 6, 2020 and by the blanket pardons given to so many traitors by the winner of the 2024 election. It will also clamp a lid on the President who now has every spineless republican congressman by their reproductive organs.

6. I have every confidence that if I become the Republican candidate after the primary (which is as of today very unlikely) the Democratic winner of the Democrat’s primary will find my anti-gerrymandering idea as compelling as I do and as Independents are sure to.

7. AND….it also occurs to me that the Supreme Court majority that has just blown the remains of the 1965 Voting Rights Law to Kingdom come………Will see this as a remedy to their not entirely paranoid idea that the current Congress has abused it to elect large numbers of minorities to Congress. In fact this became possible to the detriment of Democratic majorities by Republicans who encouraged long gerrymandered congressional districts of connected black populations which had two consequences. It replaced a lot of white Democrats with black Democrats but also handed majority control of Congress to Republicans who were the greatest benefactors of these gerrymandered Democratic/minority leaning districts.

Last Post: Solving Dupicitous Gerrymandering according to ChatGPT Next Post: How Chief Justice Roberts used the 2000 census to benefit Republicans to gut the…

[46,25,168
