She was the blogging creation of a 40 year old American man. <\/p>\n<p>After &#8220;Amina&#8217;s&#8221; fraudulent disappearance, reportedly at the hands of the Syrian secret police, a real dissident Syrian blogger asked whether anyone would call the Syrian Embassy on his behalf if he should be abducted, really abducted.
