Yesterday I cleaned up my wizard of oz snow sculpture at least giving the four heroes passable faces. Sadly as I stood above them I forgot that they should be looking down to the street. Consequently, if I want their eyes to be seen by traffic I’ll have to touch them up. Its only zero degrees today as lunchtime approaches so it will only be inertia that prevents me from cleaning them up. And I’m not inert. I already wrote my second possible Duluth Reader column for next week this morning – in rough draft form.<\/em> Now I have two to choose from.<\/p>\n I have another column in mind as well one I’ve been thinking about since before the election. “whom the God’s wish to punish they grant their wishes.”<\/p>\n To that point I saw a summary of the vacuous nonsense Trump poured out in his Oval office interview with suck up Trump cheerleader Sean Hannity from the Oval Office. America is in for a treat. Trump bemoaned Biden’s not giving himself a pardon for his misdeeds as an unimpeached president because obviously Trump thinks any president criticizing him should have their tongue cut out. I guess poor old Trump will have no choice but to haul his successor and predecessor to court for treason.<\/p>\n And someone noticed I was back at pontificating online. \nI just watched the Episcopal priest on Rachel Maddow, what a peaceful countenance after she received actual nasty \u201cwish you were dead\u201d messages. Also heard her on NPR today.
\nI recently discovered the Brit comedy on Britbox called Rev. It won BAFTA Best comedy in 2010. Makes me laugh out loud. Irreverent yet really sweet. I need some laughs.
\nLots of backlash on blanket pardon of Jan6ers. I hope his approval rating plummets.
