Last night I recorded my fourth podcast. In fussing with my so far failed attempt to upload it to Spotify I discovered I hadn’t yet linked my blog to Podcast number 3. Here is that link: <\/p>\n

I typed up copious uploading instructions but after three failed attempts to get number 4 uploaded I left a message with my tech Guru, my grandson. I told him I have all day so getting back to me immediately is not critical. I simply hope to work out all the bugs myself in the next few uploads.<\/p>\n

I noted in my stats today that starting yesterday I had a lot of visits to the blog. I put up a lot of sloppy posts so I’m surprised but heartened by the increased attention. After a month of podcasts and passing out campaign literature I hope to get far more. Wish me luck.<\/p>\n

I have a lot of work to do today. My handwritten notes say I must:
\n1. Ask myself the interesting hypothetical question: “Would a Southern Confederate States have joined the Nazi’s against the United States if the Civil War had ended differently.” Being hypothetical its only a possible plot for a scifi novel.<\/p>\n

2. Draw up a future Reader column with a title like: “You can’t tell me what to do!”<\/p>\n

3. Upload podcast number 4<\/p>\n

4. Write next weeks’ Reader column about “mongrels” and send it to the editor<\/p>\n

5. Organize my blog posts (the recent posts are a bit of a mess)<\/p>\n

6. Make a game for UMD students related to tonight’s lit passing out<\/p>\n

Sitting behind my keyboard can be a grind albeit a necessary one. I’m trying to get ahead of myself. Last week I had grandsons underfoot to distract but also to motivate and help me with my new means of communicating with voters.
