I was<a href=\"http:\/\/lincolndemocrat.com\/?p=2996\"> roundly criticized <\/a>by Vic for making the easy generalization that Republicans hate regulation. It hasn&#8217;t always been that way. From Teddy Roosevelt and his<strong> Sherman Anti Trust Act<\/strong> to Nixon and the <strong>Enviornmental Protection Agency<\/strong> many Republicans have imposed some restraints on the gathering in of money by commerce.<\/p>\n<p>One of my favorite Republicans was Teddy Roosevelt who almost single handedly made conservation a popular American cause. What does one of the cheerleaders for Sarah Palin-like government-lite say of Teddy Roosevelt. Here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/blogs-and-stories\/2010-03-09\/the-gops-war-on-teddy-roosevelt\/\">Glen Beck on Teddy Roosevelt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Beck would also like you to buy gold.
