{"id":2902,"date":"2010-04-03T22:47:52","date_gmt":"2010-04-04T03:47:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lincolndemocrat.com\/?p=2902"},"modified":"2017-03-02T09:55:10","modified_gmt":"2017-03-02T14:55:10","slug":"criminal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lincolndemocrat.com\/?p=2902","title":{"rendered":"Simply Criminal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am posting this<a href=\"http:\/\/www.duluthnewstribune.com\/event\/article\/id\/164513\/\"> letter <\/a>to the DNT from a parent on the crimes committed by this school board against children in full:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The purpose of the Red Plan was, I believe, to move from three high schools to two and to save money on facilities in order to save programs. Thus Central High School will be closed.<\/p>\n<p>I have a son at Central.<\/p>\n<p>A middle school also was closed. Woodland became the eastern, instead of the city&#8217;s central, middle school. Classes are larger this year with approximately 35 students in each. The school is crowded. It is a more difficult year.<\/p>\n<p>I know. I have a daughter at Woodland.<\/p>\n<p>Grant Language Magnet School is a wonderful school, but now the magnet program is being cut. And I have a daughter at Grant.<\/p>\n<p>My two older children went to Lowell Music Magnet. It, too, was a wonderful program. Even now it has a reported waiting list of 300 children.
