I chatted with former Mayor Ness last night while he watched his son and I watched my grandson battle it out on a soccer field. I told him he was graying gracefully. We chatted a bit about the Congressional race and his estimate was not unlike mine. He thinks the race is Pete Stauber’s to lose.<\/p>\n

I’ve been heartened by the mad, infectious growth of Donald Trump’s Headaches and his diversionary tweets this summer thinking that it might blunt his groupies who follow him as though they were heading to a Grateful Dead concert. But I am afraid the fractious Dems will scare away voters who might hold moderate views giving Trump another two years of a Republican Congress. <\/p>\n
