Even now Duluth Denfeld is asking its grads for money to pay for something called &#8220;smart books&#8221; which must be some kind of technological gizmo. In the short run this may not be a problem as this story in the Minneapolist Trib reports:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>&#8220;the report says nothing about a link between technology and student achievement. In fact, the report&#8217;s authors acknowledge that many of the lowest-scoring states on this list have some of the highest student test scores. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>And some of the top-scoring technology states &#8212; such as West Virginia and Arkansas &#8212; have a tradition of struggling schools.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Still, over time, lapses like this will have an impact.
