I"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My next post will show the five legal ads published in today&#8217;s Trib (the Superintendent&#8217;s abettor) requesting bids for Red Plan projects not yet approved by the School Board.<\/p>\n<p>In Dr. Dixon&#8217;s headlong rush to prevent the voters from scuttling his grand vision of a gleaming new School System guess how many of these formal steps in District construction policy he&#8217;s skipping? It must be nice to have a school board full of eunuchs. (I think this may be a <a href=\"http:\/\/lincolndemocrat.com\/?p=1839\">PG approved <\/a>word because only the most precocious little kids will know what it means. Review revised educational specifications with Superintendent and consultants.<br \/>\n12. Progress reports to appropriate administrators.<br \/>\n13. Preliminary drawings.<br \/>\n14. Preliminary drawings reviewed by principal and consultants.<br \/>\n15. Revise preliminary drawings.<br \/>\n16. Preliminary drawings reviewed by:<br \/>\n  a.  State Department of Education and State Fire Marshal.<br \/>\n  b.  City Fire Marshal, and cleared, and a documented report<br \/>\nsubmitted to the School Board Business Services Committee.<br \/>\n  c.  School Board representative (informal).<br \/>\n  d.  School Board (formal).<br \/>\n17. Revise educational specifications to emerging plans.<br \/>\n18. Progress report to Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment.<br \/>\n19. Development of working drawings.<br \/>\n20. Working drawings reviewed.<br \/>\n21. Revise working drawings.<br \/>\n22. Working drawings reviewed by:<br \/>\n  a.  State Department of Education and State Fire Marshal.<br \/>\n  b.  City Fire Marshal.<br \/>\n  c. Fire underwriters.<br \/>\n  d.  School Board representative (informal).<br \/>\n23. Approval by School Board (formal).<br \/>\n24. Development of detailed drawings.<br \/>\n25. Review and revision of detailed drawings.<br \/>\n26. State Department of Education (formal).<br \/>\n27. Contract preparation.<br \/>\n28. Call for bids.<br \/>\n29. Bids received.<br \/>\n30. Bids awarded.<br \/>\n31. Work start or ground breaking.<br \/>\n32. Work one quarter (1\/4) complete.<br \/>\nOne Half (1\/2) complete.<br \/>\n  Three quarters (3\/4) complete.<br \/>\nAny change orders requested must be reported to the Business Services Committee immediately.<br \/>\n33. Preliminary inspection.<br \/>\n34. Project occupied by owner.<br \/>\n35. Dedication.<br \/>\n36. Final inspection.<br \/>\n37.
