He ran as a demagogue. I expect that he will attempt to persuade the public as a demagogue when things aren&#8217;t going his way. I hope I&#8217;m wrong.<\/p>\n<p>In  any event I think <a href=\"http:\/\/mobile.nytimes.com\/2016\/11\/11\/magazine\/a-time-for-refusal.html?smid=fb-nytimes&#038;smtyp=cur&#038;referer=http%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com%2F\">this NY Times piece<\/a> demonstrates my thinking. Contrast the current Republican President Elect with my grandfather&#8217;s Republicanism in <a href=\"http:\/\/lincolndemocrat.com\/?p=18326\">the previous post<\/a> to get a sense of how deep my feeling&#8217;s run. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whether President Elect will attempt to rule like an autocrat remains to be seen.
