It is not confrontational as is the email detailed in the preceding post. I can count noses. If tonight is about a battle my side can&#8217;t win. If it is about the future of the Duluth Public Schools. Well I hope it is. That might have a different outcome.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.duluthnewstribune.com\/opinion\/columns\/4022626-school-board-members-view-not-selling-central-will-put-school-district-great\">My op-ed piece<\/a> is in today&#8217;s Trib. It took me six separate attempts over the past month to find the right words and say what needed to be said. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d also recommend the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.duluthnewstribune.com\/opinion\/readers-views\/4022627-readers-view-if-its-not-too-late-sell-central-so-edison-can-use-it\">letter<\/a> from a former teacher in the parochial schools who had a thoughtful reflection about our situation in ISD 709.<\/p>\n<p>All of Duluth needs to take a deep breath and edge back from the abyss. But please, Come to tonight&#8217;s meeting. Parking can be a challenge at Old Central so plan ahead.
