All four local TV networks were waiting for me as I drove up to our billboard to explain the rationale for having Duluth Voters call the Governor. It was a bright sunshiney day. Good Questions, Good humor, Good points, Sour circumstances. I’ll be out of town so I’ll miss all the coverage tonight. <\/p>\n
On my way to the Press Conference I got a call from our local public television station. Let Duluth Vote was asked to be in a debate with the newly formed Move Duluth Forward into Hell. Oops! My bad. I keep adding letters to their acronym.<\/p>\n
Sadly, none of their spokesmen are available for this Friday’s Almanac North so a debate\/discussion will have to follow on some other Friday possibly after the School District offers their bids for as much of the Red Plan as they can get.<\/p>\n
I told the producer not to worry. Our group will never give in until a new school board is elected next year. We have, as I told the reporters this morning, several avenues to pursue to dent and cripple the Red Plan before it drains the Duluth schools of life.<\/p>\n
As I came home from the press conference under a sunny sky I can see clearly now <\/strong><\/em>was playing on the soft rock channel I rarely listen to.
