I met with a group of people today and this evening they called me back. They’ve agreed to help put lawnsigns up on Sunday afternoon. I’ll be doing the same on Saturday with Gil. By the time we are through there will be far fewer gaps in town.<\/p>\n

One of our new recruits heard a rumor today that there is an anti-referendum petition going around. I bet that will be popular: “We the undersigned voters of Duluth hereby surrender our voting rights to the people we elected because they are so much smarter than we are. We’ll gladly pay any tax they impose on us because we are tired of waiting for a good decison for our schools. We believe that a bad decision earlier is better than a good decision later.”<\/p>\n

I found this note in my patio where another person had left off twenty signatures on a petition. <\/p>\n

Hi! Am feeling positive about this referendum! Hope the response is good.<\/p>\n

My husband suggested that School Board members re-read their American History books to recall the Boston Tea Party. A tea bag sent to each one may ring a bell, – but I don’t think they’d “get it!”<\/p>\n
