Those are the things I wanted to put in a website when I set up <a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbizz.com\">Snowbizz.com<\/a> in 1999. In 4,000 plus pages of musings, memorabilia, and stolen newspaper stories, I explained these things in my own eccentric way.\u00a0One of my chief purposes was to explain to parents and voters what was happening in our schools and\u00a0the mysterious world of the Duluth School Board. I have rarely added to the site for he past eight years because I blog now. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the subjects I lavished words on back in the day:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbizz.com\/DuluthSchools%20Page\/ISD709.htm\"><strong>Duluth\u00a0Schools<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0From 1999 until 2003. It includes <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbizz.com\/SchoolBoardDiary\/index.htm\"><strong>a one-year diary<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<strong>of my life as a School Board member.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbizz.com\/MomsArtPage\/Mom%27sArt.htm\"><strong>Moms\u00a0Art<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0Just that. BTW, Mom always wanted me to be an artist\u00c2\u00a0rather than\u00a0a politician. I mutated into a little of both.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbizz.com\/SnowSculpting%20Page\/Snowsculpting.htm\"><strong>Snowsculpting<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0a silly\u00a0but fortuitous pastime that my first grade daughter got me started with in 1987.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbizz.com\/Books%20Page\/Books.htm\"><strong>Books<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0The best window into my intellectual interests.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbizz.com\/HWRepublican\/harryweltyrepublican.htm\"><strong>Welty\u00a0a\u00a0Republican?<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0(not any more)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbizz.com\/Diogenes\/Diogenes.htm\"><strong>Diogenes<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0Miscellaneous writings of mine for which I take all the credit and blame. Many are political. Many are personal.\u00a0A few take a\u00a0halting stab at poetry.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/font><font face=\"Arial\"><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbizz.com\/Crisis\/crisis.htm\"><strong>Crisis<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0One small dramatic episode in my school board experience. In 2001 thousands of\u00a0Duluthians\u00a0raised Hell\u00a0to save their elementary schools.\u00a0In the last fifty years no\u00a0local legislator, city counselor, congressman\u00a0or state official has endured such a profound public outcry. I consider it my finest hour as a school board member. &#8220;Crisis&#8221; was my attempt to keep people informed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbizz.com\/History%26Me\/history%26me.htm\"><strong>History&#038;Me<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0just that but there&#8217;s not much here.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbizz.com\/PoliticalDiary02-03\/Politician%27sDiary.htm\"><strong>PoliticiansDiary<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0A much more abreviated diary than my <\/strong><strong>school board diary<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong> BTW &#8211; I before this I began something I called the School Board diary. It was like a blog.
