Meltdown

I wrote one last blog entry covering my last day in Texas. Its stuck in a word document in my laptop and there it will stay. I figured out how to meet if not master the technological requirements of blogging on the road but it was still a hassle. I’ll get better.

My better half, an energy company exec. has been telling me for years that nuclear energy makes sense. The articles I’ve read on the subject have inclined me to this point of view for some years. The fear of plutonium poisoning lasting for millions of years has prevented the nuclear industry in the US from building any new plants since Three Mile Island. Maybe the melting of Greenland will change our rigid opposition. Here’s one of the founders of Greenpeace who’s seen the light.
